Brief synopsis: For nine months Bennett has wanted Chloe. He wanted her more than any other woman he’d seen and at the same time, he hated her. How can someone so hot be such a bitch?

Chloe can’t deny that Bennett is gorgeous with a face that any male model would die for. But he’s also an evil bastard. And her boss.

One evening, alone at work, Bennett can no longer resist. Certain that one time would be enough to satisfy the wanting, they end up in a steamy session against the conference room window. Unfortunately, it only leaves them both wanting more and more comes with problems. The first being that they hate each other. The other; Chloe’s career.

What I thought: THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL LOVE STORY! Chloe and Bennett (or Miss Mills and Mr Ryan as they refer to each other) go straight from hating each other to having sex on the conference room table within minutes. If you want hearts and flowers, I’d suggest you pick another book but you’re looking for a book that is HOT from the beginning (I’m talking chapter one), then this is the book for you.

I can’t say this is an amazing story – it’s a story about a relationship built on physical attraction and pure lust rather than emotion – but there’s no denying that I enjoyed it. So much so, I read it twice in the space of a week! The characters are likeable (even the Beautiful Bastard), the sex is HOT and there’s lots of it!

I can’t wait to read Beautiful Stranger but in the meantime I’ve got some shopping to do; this book has left me with the urge to stock up on expensive undies!

Favourite quote:
“‘To get the job at the top, you’ve got to start at the bottom,’ he told me. ‘Become the person the CEO can’t live without. Be their right-hand man. Learn their world, and they’ll snatch you up the second you finish your degree.’
I had become irreplaceable. And I’d definitely become the Right Hand. It just so happened that in this case, I was the right hand that most days wanted to slap the damn face.”
